The things that caught my

attention on his works to use into my work as an example, is his composition, B/W and colour, in his photos he don't worry putting it in angle, the background as well it is extremely out of focus. To emulate his work I have in mind, firstly set my camera to shoot B/W and for colour I will be shooting with a flat colour, it makes better for pros production. Wara and I decided to go to Chelsea because there's a posh area for street photography. to do this I use my camera (Canon 60D) with my telephoto lens 70-300mm with hood and a grip for vertical photos if needed. I used the lowest aperture that my lenses offer, F/ 4-5.6, and I use the ISO approximately 100-350 with 1'150 to 1'200 shutter speed. to make this images look good, I used Photoshop for pros production, I corrected the levels of the photo before turn it in B/W, then I adjust the contrast and brightness to give a real B/W photo from a analog camera. For the colour one I adjust the "Brightness/Contrast", the "Hue/Saturation", the sharpness of the image using "Smart Sharpen..." and I correct the colours in the "Selective Color..." tool. after I edited the photos I Saved as JPEG format.

The meanings is behind everything even in the photos. It's not just go out there and start taking rounding photos, because that don't have any meaning, but to a professional photographer must have a meaning behind their photos.
The meaning for my photos that I photographed in Chelsea, it is to show how a posh area makes someone dress their self to walk in that area and in the way this people dress their self, it tell how much money they have. A posh area attract people that has lot of money and attract bussines people too.

Food Review

Thinking of food, I think of Borough Market, why? It's a Market for food lovers! Where there is all types of food. From sea to sky food from all around the world. When I went to Borough Market, I had a great experience taking photos there and the greatest was trying the free samples.
It was a bit cloudy there and cold, just like a typical London morning. The market was already wake, serving and selling their food. The Market it's not only visited by people that want to eat and buy food for they own consumption, but also by tourists. This is because Borough Market is London’s most renowned food market, a source of exceptional British and international produce.

Borough Market is a great place to take photos. There are a lot of shops, each one different from the other, one more colourful and other, every shop sell different things. Their shops are very organised to give a lasting impression. The sellers are very hygienic with their food while serving and selling.

At the college canteen, they are normally are open from 8am till 5pm, Since the college repaired the canteen late last year this year, it reopen in the begging of this year. Now they are receiving 48% more people then last year. Not just the coffee got better but the food too,  They serve food such as croissants, patties, fruits, rice, chicken and set lunch menus.
When I went to the college canteen and to Borough Market to photograph the food. I remember the photographic composition used by the Bloggers that I researched, such as Joel Marschner, They normally take photo of hands holding plates with food, They also use some repetition and colours that combine together such as green and red or orange and green.

Scavenger Hunt

This week I went out to emulate some old images that was taken in this location around Pimlico and Vauxhall Bridge. I prepare my self with my Canon 6D and a wide angle lens (17-85mm), i check the wether a day before to were the right cloth.

1 Lupus Street, 2015
1 Lupus Street, 1980’s
The first one it was in 1 Lupus Street,  the image is about 35 years old. trying to emulate it was hard to be honest, was my first time doing this with buildings, looking in the view finder and try to fit the edges of the old building into my expose.

 Grosvenor Street, 2015
 Grosvenor Street, 1936
The second place that I went to emulate the image of old building was in Dolphin Square, Grosvenor Street and the image is about 79 years old. while I was taking the picture the only problem that I face with was try to put it in the right composition.

Vauxhall Bridge, 1909

Vauxhall Bridge, 2015
The third place that I went to take photo was in Vauxhall Bridge, I had to go to the right side to emulate a old image that was talked about 106 years ago. The difficulty that I had was to find the the same spot from the other photographer.

I was strong influenced by all this photographers by the way they talked the photo, the composition they used, it has lot of lines from both ways (horizontal and vertical) creating shapes everywhere.

Portrait and Identity

Wu Zhiyi

Felype Campos (Me)
In 1999 Wu Zhiyi token this photo in America of a woman who are walking in the central city with two dogs. Looking to this photo you can tell some technics that the photographer used to capture this moment, he probably used a low Shutter Speed, about 1/60-125, because is notable movement glur in the legs of the people, the aperture that he may used was F/6-13, because most the image are in focus, into the compositions of this image, the image have a lot of lines in all directions, it's a lot of red in this picture, bus, car, women and in the posters too and other composition thet I find in this picture is that the woman are crossing the street in straight line that are in the floor.

Felype Campos (Me)
Okay, looking into the photo and analyzing the main object of the photo you can tell that, this woman are using a modern dress and pretty cool style with that raybans glasses  and the bag, let's say that she have lot of money right.

Well, one of my tasks was to take photo of different people styles in the streets, more like ID style (composition) for the blog to practice for the final image that i have to re-create.

I was told to re-create Wu Zhiyi image with about the same compositions, clothing and environment. Using the technique  that he used in his photo, I will try to emulate his photo but in a way that shows the other side, totally opposite from that photo , because I want to show different class of people that walk with dogs and where they walk.

Felype Campos (Me)
To capture this photo, I had to prepare myself, like always. Firstly I wrote about how I gonna manage to capture it and research good spots around the College, after the boring part, I went out with all the equipments that I needed to capture this photo. There is a park not too far from the College

In the park I talk few photos of people walking with dogs, because wasn't that day that people decide to go out and walk with they dogs, anyway, I had to wait and wait. With my telephoto lens (70-300mm) and my baby (Canon 60D) I manage to capture the photos that I was looking for, instead of two dogs and one person like in Zhiyi photo, I photographed two people with one dog and instead of be in central city it's is in park. In this picture I want to say that not only rich or right class of people can walk with dogs and it not just that, the way that they dress tell a lot who they are in general.
